Never This Again

I move across the water
Without a journey planned
And both the source and destination
Lie unknown

I know not how I got here
Nor how far I must tread
Uncertainty abounds within me
Yet still I roam

If I ever find my course
If Polaris its light lends
I will leave this place behind
Never this again

I remain on the water
Lost at distant sea
Without the slightest indication
Where to go

Is it my solemn duty
To blaze a brand new trail?
It's the answer to a question
That I may never know

If I ever find my course
If Polaris its light lends
I will leave this place behind
Never this again
And if storms should follow me
If I ever find the end
Still I'll leave this place behind
Never this again
